Overview
This is a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) elective SWAT Management online training course offered for Texas Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.
Our course addresses the basic development and operation of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams. We provide essential background material and supporting documentation to provide a deeper understanding of the philosophy behind such teams and their various strategies. Tactical response situations often present unusual and elevated risks to residents and officers involved. The high profile nature of critical incidents, which are generally beyond the resolution capability of first responders, focuses attention on the outcome, which often becomes the barometer by which the agency and its leadership are measured.
Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive seven (7) hours of course credit.

Overview
This Swipe & Swap™ (Triple I Solutions®) elective online Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) training course is offered by OSS Academy® for Texas Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.
At any given time on the highways and roadways of the United States there are an estimated 121 million registered commercial motor vehicles. This number accounts for almost half of the motoring vehicle population traveling on the roads. Despite these staggering numbers of commercial motor vehicles, the industry is vastly overlooked by the majority of patrol-level law enforcement. According to the Bureau of Justice, the United States has 750,340 sworn law enforcement officers, representing federal, state and local jurisdictions and a very small percentage of these focus their efforts on Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE). The lack of enforcement by the “road officer” and the lack of training and understanding of the industry leads to a haven for criminal elements to operate. Swipe & Swap™ - CMV Box Trailer Fraud & Theft Investigation is the first of many upcoming training courses developed as a collaborative effort of Overwatch EDU™ and Triple I Solutions® to assist patrol-level and criminal interdiction officers in the understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and how to identify and investigate the enormous problem of commercial vehicle theft and fraud. This class is heavily dependent on videos and all videos must be watched in their entirety.
Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive sixteen (16) hours of course credit.

Overview
This is the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) mandated TDD/TTY for Telecommunicators #3812 (TCOLE) [OSS Option 1] online training course offered for Texas Telecommunicators.
The hearing and speech impaired often use a communication system called TTY [Text Teletypewriter or Text Telephone] to communicate over conventional or cell phones. Also in common use are TDD [Telecommunications Device for the Deaf]. In practical terms TTY and TDD are used interchangeably and refer to any type of text-based telecommunications equipment used by a person who does not have enough functional hearing to understand speech, even with amplification.
Texas Telecommunicators have a unique requirement to complete variations of the TDD/TTY for Telecommunicators #3812 course every six months. Stay tuned ~ February 2019 as OSS Academy® is developing and will be offering TDD/TTY for Telecommunicators #3812 (TCOLE) [OSS Option 2] which will enhance the adult learning process with new creative course materials.
As technology advances, smartphones are an increasing popular way for the hearing impaired to communicate. However, when that is not an option [for example, calling 911] the primary way to communicate is through a TTY system or a relay service. It is important for you to understand how these systems work in order to communicate efficiently with someone who is hearing or speech impaired. If there are abbreviations or technical terms that are unfamiliar to you, be sure to check the glossary included with this course.
Please note, the entire course (including any applicable course parts), final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive four (4) hours of course credit.

One of the many responsibilities of the Commission is the establishment of standards governing law enforcement training programs and schools. The Occupations Code, Section 1701.252, stipulates that before a training program can be licensed, the school must have an advisory board for developing curriculum. The purpose of this training is to provide members of the advisory board with a review of the rules promulgated by the Commission regarding the duties and function of the advisory board.

Overview
This is a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) elective Undercover Operations: Into the Shadows #3200 online training course for Texas Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.
One of the most effective and strategic methods law enforcement uses to infiltrate criminal organizations is through undercover operations.
Officers who conduct these operations unlock evidence that may not be possible through traditional methods. They gain insight into criminal organizations and their key players. They reveal systems and activities often unseen by uniform patrols and offer law enforcement a tool to combat some of the most covert crimes.
Undercover operations have become a standard part of law enforcement work. They require careful planning, dedicated participants, and a supportive agency to be successful.
In this course, we will discuss several different facets of undercover operations and will prepare you to utilize one of the most powerful tools available to enforcement efforts.
Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive two (2) hours of course credit.
