This OSS Academy Cybersecurity & Malware Awareness for Employees (Texas HB 3834) Texas Department of Information Resources [DIR] certified online training course meets the requirements of Texas House Bill (HB) 3834 (R) that requires all state and local elected officials and employees and contractors to complete a newly created Texas State Certified Cybersecurity course.
This OSS Academy Cybersecurity & Malware Awareness for Employees (Texas HB 3834) course meets the requirements of:
- Texas Government Code Section 2054.519(b) for county, city, and state employees and contractors

Due to the highly serious threat to U.S., state, and local governments, this cybersecurity training must be completed no later than mid-June by all local government employees, and even earlier by state employees.
